i've been receiving replies from UCAS lately. well lets just say things are not looking too good. i would still like to remain positive. afterall this was part of my new year resolution. 1 conditional + 3 more replies to go. come onn....
for the records, this wed marks the stupid-est day ever in the freaking calendar year. well at least in my humble opinion. its really a damn zzz day. i dislike how people have this retard mentality in their head that vday is a day where you intentionally "surprise" your other half with a dinner+buy her flowers+buy her expensive present. i think everybody forgot that vday is essentially a day to share the love with people who truly matter. imagine just hanging out with friends over dinner, reminiscing the good ol' moments, laughing yourselves silly. i think that adds so much more value and meaning to that day.
on a sidenote, CNY is just around the corner. i am not feeling it at all this time. the only thing that i am happy about is that i get two whole official days off work and zouk is actually putting mambo night on the eve. wow i hope its going to be a blast. i think as we grow older, the excitement really just dies off. i remember how when i was young, i would wish that everyday was CNY, just cause i would get red packets. now that im older, that kind of money doesnt really excite me anymore.
work doesnt seem to be cutting me any slack either, even as i approach the impending end. people who think they are too smart for their own good really should just burn in hell. but well life goes on and i know i can pull through. just 2 more months and its no turning back from there.
