ALOHA 2007!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! a new year deserves a new post.ushered in the new year by clubbing continuously from the last mambo of the year onwards. last mambo didnt turn out as planned but it was alright i guess. overall i am still satisfied. thursday was chuin+cliffords party at butter. friends all around so it was well spent. cant remember what i did on friday but we went to MoS on saturday. cliffords cousin got us all smashed on champagnes. zzz.
the last day of 2006 was very messy. eventually i settled on going to butter. countdown with many familiar faces. hugs and handshakes all over. it was a great feeling just to be in the midst of all the company of people who truly matter to you. left shortly after midnight to join the nye party at expo. managed to catch summer rain while i was dancing right in the middle of the main podium! haha at least that made up for the stupid ECP jam on the way to expo. later in the night i got wind of some big fight at butter. wasn't the best of ways to start a new year but surely it satisfied the criteria of being a 'smashing' new year. hur. ended the night with supper at al ameen.
thinking back, the incident actually brought out the best of the social circle. its good to see how people put aside their differences to unite for a common cause. at the end of the day, bad people will get bad karma. shall not go into details of what happened but lets just say life goes on.
here's a shoutout to all my friends for making 2006 such a memorable year. i am sorry for all my shortcomings and i promise i will make a genuine effort to improve. finally here's one of my new year resolutions to share with everyone. hopefully this year will be better than the last! :)
