surprise phone call from chuin yesterday. what a pleasant one it turned out to be. last minute plans to have supper at the new newton hawker centre together with cliff nessa and lianne. though it looks cleaner nowadays, all of us agreed that the quality of food has dipped significantly. its nice how friends make an effort to keep in touch despite their busy schedules.
last minute change of plans and we ended up at li's crib to catch the world cup finals. wasn't as exciting as the 2002 world cup where i went down to the padang to soak in the atmosphere with thousands of world cup fanatics. it was just the odd 8 of us but it turned out to be really enjoyable nonetheless. the girls were gunning for italy while the guys were cheering for france. overall a good match with plenty of opportunities from each side. ended up having less than half an hour of sleep before going for work today. ZzZzZz.
