sitting in camp doing duty on a sunday is certainly quite depressing. owell thats life.

headed down to MOS again last night. just some comments about the place in general.

-the entrance to MOS doesnt do the club justice. located opposite the clarke quay carpark entrance, it looks very ordinary.

-thankfully the interior speaks a different tone altogether. the main area where trance is played looks damn damn good. definitely bigger and nicer than main zouk.

-the club consists of TWO levels!! and they actually built an escalator inside the club to facilitate smooth human traffic flow.

-the rnb area was quite plain. somewhat a mixture of cocolatte + music underground. at least thats what i felt. but all of us agreed that the metallic fencing to seperate the dance floor and the seats was a very good idea. we just couldn't figure out why they had airplane seats chucked at one corner of the place. and people actually sat on them. ZzZz.

-if you are intending to stay at the main arena where trance is played, ear plugs are strongly advised. the sound system is at least 3-4 times more power packed than the one at the newly renovated zouk.

-somehow i prefer the second level more than the ground level. its more posh up there. they have themed rooms. there is one called pure where customers have to actually take their shoes off! the way they seperated the tables surrounding the main arena was also quite innovative. gives it a much more private feel.

-the retro room looks really retro as well. haha. its a pity that i didn't really get to hear my favourite mambo tracks though. then again i wasn't really hanging around inside for long. i think the best part of the room is the dance floor where it has damn cool blinking lights on it!

overall i give MOS the thumbs up as i see them being able to give zouk a good run for their money. its always good for the consumers to have one other alternative clubbing spot.
