after a trip to the airport last night, i figured that goodbye hugs are the hardest to stomach. it gets pretty unbearable each time a friend leaves for further shores. emotions are hard to contain especially at this juncture. this post is dedicated to a girl who has left for down under to pursue her degree.

cheryl dearest, thank you for the 6 wonderful years of friendship. it seemed like just yesterday that we met. King Albert Park Macdonalds. from the ac mg days all the way through our college years, many memories of us are etched deep in my heart. i like the fact that though we were never really that close, there was this something which kept our friendship going. you are the only girl who acknowledges dearest as my last name. haha. im indeed thankful that i have met you in my life and i look forward to many more beautiful years of friendship. all the best for your studies and i'll eagerly await your return. missing you always, -jian
