today was in a way a special day for me. it was the first time that my sec 4 class had a reunion after that very day when we all received our O level results back. and that was 2 years ago. time flies and people change. looking at the broader perspective, 2 years is a very short time. however it changes people and things around us drastically. i must admit what i saw today and what it was 2 years back is definitely not the same anymore.

all of us gathered at alex and colin's crib or better known as the 'macdonald house'. i've always enjoyed going to their house because it does not look like a house at all! its resort theme and no walls concept certainly makes it one of the most unique kind of architecture i've ever seen. it was really nice catching up with each other and updating one another on happenings in our lives. reminiscing about our days in acsi certainly brought back many fond memories. i always believe that my upper secondary days were the best schooling years in my life. all of us felt that college was just not worth mentioning. in a way, there was nothing memorable about life in college. a pity not all of us could be there. some have already gone into army while others left for further studies overseas and a handful having other commitments. nevertheless it was all good. the spirit of apollorites will live on..

just yesterday, i caught the movie alfie. must admit it was one of the nicest movies i've ever watched. i reckon a person will either like the show a lot or find it a total bore. the storyline was simple yet realistic. basically the movie depicts the life of an attractive young guy which initially seeemed to be so perfect. not until a point of time where he just lost everything he had. to sum it up, it was high highs to rock bottom lows. the movie touched on many close to heart issues like family, relationships, friendships and the world we live in. it was one which i could draw many lessons from and it has changed my perspective regarding certain issues too.

phuture after and definitely not the best of nights to insert into my memory lane. it was just bad in many ways. =X
