a recollection of events over the past few days.
went to JB today with my family. was skeptical about the whole idea initially because i really wanted to sleep longer. however i went ahead after some persuasion from my mum. drove down to CMPB to get my passport extended before heading for the causeway. as expected there was the usual causeway jam. =X we got into malaysia at around 2+ and headed for a late lunch followed by shopping at holiday plaza and city square. managed to buy some new clothes as supplements for my pathetic wadrobe condition.
sunday was a pretty short day for me. slept in pretty much the entire day. cabbed down to town in the evening to meet up with cliff tim marn dith and audrey for a short while. got my presents there too. went over to pei wen's house as it was her birthday. bbq coupled with lots of alcohol. five-ten and other retarded games. as a result, a few of them turned hysterical. free entertainment is always the best entertainment! =p jerry was absolutely amusing (yes he was drunk too). ocean's fourteen and ABSOLUT-lee. most of us suffered extreme laughter cramps after. ahahaha. left her place at 4+ feeling happy and crazy. i suppose it was the company that really made the whole party that much more meaningful. how i wish there would be more of these in future. =/
christmas this year was very much different from past years. firstly, i sent a grand total of zero christmas cards and bought zero christmas presents for my friends. felt really bad about it but as i have mentioned before, i was in no mood for christmas at ALL. ironically, i received a record number of gifts and cards from friends. i am very thankful for each and every single present and christmas card. it really means so much to me. little things DO add up. didn't spend christmas the way i dreamt about it but it was meaningful in its own way. lunch @ CPK. meet the fockers @ ps. dinner @ esplanade. thank you for everything again! =) then it was off to kenneth's house to join the rest of them to chill out once again. left his place at 2-ish this time around.
christmas eve was yet another quiet affair. but i guess thats the way things should be? "silent night.. holy night" haha i always believe crazy partying should be left till new year's eve. pool in the afternoon. dinner @ ps. it was army stories overload. haha. headed down to zouk after dinner but i got really turned off by their cover charge. changed our minds and we went down to mezza9 @ hyatt to chill. cab ride there costed us eleven buckaroos!!! no thanks to the stupid major congestion on orchard road due to stupid singaporeans with dumb logic all coming to town at that time (yes i admit im partly at fault too). and so it was just me kenneth wen xian and man ling counting down to christmas day. the rest came over to join us nearing closing as everybody had their own seperate programmes earlier in the night. proceeded to take a stroll down towards main orchard road. turned out to be a very bad idea indeed. stupid irritating people walking all over town spraying those artificial snow. even our friends were not spared. reached my breaking point and i exercised my verbal abuses on those oh-im-so-funny losers. my friends were diaoing all of them. and yes we were on the verge of bashing those idiots up. apparently it was worst earlier in the night. people got taken advantage of and shit. that really turned me off. decided that the best solution was to leave the place. ended up at kenneth's house chilling with the rest. got home at 5+.
